I love coaching leaders. I got into executive coaching by accident, and it is my life’s calling.

So, what is it that excites me? I have a service orientation; I love to help people solve problems they can’t figure out how to solve or don’t even though they have.

My excitement is mostly about two things. One, I am fascinated by human development. I am curious about what drives people to act in the ways they do and how I might help accelerate and deepen their learning process so that they can learn think to think differently and behave in more constructive ways.

The other thing that truly excites me is helping to create impact. I typically work with senior leaders in very large organizations who make decisions that impact large numbers of people- customers, employees, and often significant decision makers.

When I can help a leader create impact, create something new that adds value, move things forward in ways never done before or solve an intractable problem I am in my zone, and I am a happy camper. It really excites me to help change the thinking or behavior of a key influencer who can enact great change.
